Below the older HiPath BizIP software releases are described for reference.

New Features V1.0 R4.2

  • flexible internal numbering (2, 3 or 4 digits)
  • improved SIP connectivity (payload handling through RTP proxy)
  • Country support for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Slovenia

New Features V1.0 R4

  • Support of standard SIP devices in addition to BizIP 410 (limited to one SIP device for every two BizIP 410 phones)
  • Fax over IP with T.38 using terminal adapter with fallback to ISDN using G.711 transparent
  • Additional features for analogue phones (consultation, transfer, alternate, call forwarding, call number restriction, do not disturb)

New Features V1.0 R3

  • SIP Trunking with PBX account (direct inward dialling)
  • Further SIP Providers and automatic fallback from VoIP to ISDN
  • Enhancements for features with SIP Providers based on HOLD
  • Up to 20 minutes recording per voice box
  • Internal ISDN devices (basic call)
  • Additional languages: Dutch and French (voice prompts to be loaded)

  • Selection of VoIP Codec preference between high quality of voice and low transmission bandwidth
  • Prevention of DSL interruption by providers through timer
  • Information for operation behind existing routers with appropriate VoIP providers
  • Support of "Firefox Browser" for web-based administration
  • Faster reaction time of web-based administration
  • Support of country settings and providers in UK

New Features V1.0.1

  • AD20/CustomerTrace under WBM/ConnectivitySettings/Maintenance/StatusAndLogs ("Show") provides informationen about outgoing/incoming calls, Call restriction and status of connection to SIP-Provider (ring buffer for ca. 1000 entries)
  • Cut-Through improvement for outgoing SIP calls and incoming ISDN calls
  • AD20/Prefix for outward dialing (0=SIP, 9=ISDN) can now be swapped via WBM/ConnectivitySettings/Telephony/Misc.
  • Group Mailbox for single ISDN/SIP numbers can be disabled under WBM/ConnectivitySettings/Telephony/ISDN or WBM/ConnectivitySettings/Telephony/VoipCallMgmt
