Could LAN (In) and LAN (Out) interfaces be connected to Layer 2 or Layer 3 Ethernet Switch in case of HiPath OpenOffice units in stacking configuration (CB, EB1 and EB2) when those are installed in different places ?
Scenario: as example, an HiPath OpenOffice ME V1.0 Central Board CB (1st Unit in stack) placed in a 19" Rack and the HiPath OpenOffice ME V1.0 Expansion Board EB1 (2nd Unit in stack) placed in a different 19" Rack, both 19" Racks are then connected by means of a Ethernet backbone (no matter if this is made of Copper Wire or Fiber Optic cable) through L2 or L3 Ethernet Switches...
Are LAN (In) and LAN (Out) really comparable to 10/100/1000 Ethernet interfaces ?
HiPath OpenOffice ME is full compliant with the following standards:
- RFC 894 Ethernet II Encapsulation
- IEEE 802.1Q Virtual LANs
- IEEE 802.2 Logical Link Control
- IEEE 802.3u 100BASE-T
- IEEE 802.3X Full Duplex Operation
For more information see also HiPath OpenOffice ME adminstration handbook, section technical data.
Which requirements both LAN interfaces should meet when used to made HiPath OpenOffice ME V1.0 in stacking configuration ?

What's the meaning of the CCV acronym ?
I refer to CCV Editor for AutoAttendant feature on HiPath OpenOffice ME V1.0
It seems an AutoAttendant time-scheduling/forwarding rules visual editor/manager but in no place there is an explanation about that acronym (as reference have a look to HiPath OpenOffice ME V1.0 Administrator Manual P31003-P1010-M100-01-76A9 01/2008 edition): in that manual, often CCV refers to a visual editor used to manage rules and scheduling of AutoAttendant but in other page there is a statement in which the AutoAttendant is called clearly AutoAttendant CCV (so like the AutoAttendant becomes a special type of AutoAttendant if ruled by this CCV visual editor).
Matters of terms...
Does the AutoAttendant feature manage FAX Intercept from PSTN/SIP/CorNet-IP trunks ?
If yes, in which ways ?
